About Us

Well, I guess this is the obligatory About Us page. Here goes:

Origins

For3 Technologies was started in 2004 by Matt Millington. Matt was born and (for the most part) raised in Terre Haute, graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1994 and from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1999. While studying Mechanical Engineering, he discovered that he didn’t want to be a mechanical engineer. Luckily, Accenture came knocking upon graduation offering a position in technology consulting, Matt accepted, and dove headfirst into the IT world.

Since 2000, Matt has worked in the Terre Haute IT world doing a wide variety of things. Matt holds the following certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – Windows 2003
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • Cisco Certified Design Associate
  • VMware Certified Professional

Matt has extensive experience in several areas as evidenced by the certifications he has achieved, and is the driving force behind For3 Technologies.

Who we are and where we’re going

For3 Technologies aspires to be Terre Haute’s premier technology provider for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs, if you will). We have worked with a variety of clients in the following industries:

  • Healthcare
  • Legal
  • Government
  • Auto
  • Retail
  • Wholesale
  • Agriculture

We understand that cool technology doesn’t necessarily help your business. Our focus is on helping you choose/design the right systems for your business, and then making sure that the systems work. Cool technology is irrelevant if it doesn’t help your business, or if it doesn’t work. We strive for both. We don’t want to be at your office every other day fixing problems, we want to install it properly, provide adequate protection for the systems to keep them running, show you how to use it, then let you get back to doing your business.

Don’t misunderstand me, we will be available whenever you need us. And even the best systems encounter issues from time to time, but we don’t want to set you up in a way that requires us to make regular trips to see you (ie. you have to keep paying us). That’s not what we’re all about. We’re about good systems, that work the way they’re supposed to work.
