VMware vSphere 5 is out. What does it mean?

VMware has announced the new version of its flagship product, vSphere. As with any major software release, there are many changes in version 5. Many of them are scaling upgrades (more processors and memory per VM and per host) for large server farms and aren’t particularly relevant to small and medium-sized businesses. Possibly the biggest change, and most impacting for For3′s VMware customers is the change in licensing.

You can read about these changes all over the Internet, and For3 Technologies was at the largest VMware Users Group gathering in the world last week staying up to speed on all things VMware, but we would love to talk to you about these changes and how they affect you specifically. Contact us to set up an appointment.
